Rights and wrongs of Baroness Warsi

Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, the shadow Community Cohesion Minister, made a speech at the Conservative Party Conference this week about religion and government. It was a bit of a curate’s egg.

.... She could have been quoting directly from NSS policy when she said: .... State multiculturalism is not integration, is not unifying and is not the British way.” We have been saying this for the past ten years. So far so good. But then the Baroness goes on to fall for the “religion is being persecuted” line.
