Muslim groups have highlighted discrimination in educational and economic opportunities and in political representation and the media, as well as the "Muslim-blindness" in the provision of health, care, and social services.
By arguing for remedies that are in line with existing legislation and policies on equality, they have made it possible to become part of British political culture and UK multiculturalist politics.
[Comment] I am sorry but I think Multiculturalism is a fallacy. I can think of no country in the world where different cultures live together without strife. When you add religion to this volatile cocktail this looks to have been the pre-program for strife through out the world.
