The Daily Telegraph disclosed in June that Theresa May, the Home Secretary, had barred Zakir Naik, a 44-year-old Indian television preacher who once claimed that “every Muslim should be a terrorist”, from a lecture tour in the UK.
It emerged at the weekend that Sabin Khan, an adviser in the Home Office’s Office of Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT), had been suspended after allegedly criticising Mrs May in private.
