Netherlands ready to get rid of blasphemy law

A never-used law in the Netherlands designed to punish blasphemers is expected to be repealed, the BBC reported Thursday.

In recent years, many nations – including the United Kingdom – have repealed blasphemy laws as an infringement of free speech.
