One of the most often criticisms and attacks on Islam is that the Prophet Mohamed married Aisha and began sexual relations with her when she was only 9-years-old.
However, a Pakistani Islamic scholar has apparently debunked the myth, arguing that the evidence points to the fact that Aisha was in fact 19-years-old when she was married to the Prophet.
