Boys forced to change in store cupboard because they were 'showing thighs'

A teacher from a school linked to the so-called Trojan Horse scandal forced boys to change in a store cupboard because they were “showing their thighs”, it is alleged.

Asif Khan, a former teacher at Oldknow Academy in Small Heath, shouted at a group of boys who were changing for PE in their classroom and instead ordered them to undress in a cupboard, said the National College for Leadership & Teaching’s (NCTL).

Mr Khan is accused by the NCTL alongside Jahangir Akbar, Oldknow’s former acting principal, of being in an agreement with some teachers, governors and parents to the inclusion of an undue amount of religious influence on the education of pupils at the school. [Birmingham Mail] Read more
